Asian Fusion Chef’s 7-course Tasting Dinner for a Los Angeles Winter

This past December I had the pleasure of serving a seven course Asian Fusion dinner for a 21st birthday celebration with family. The guests were a delight and the hosts gave me the precious gift of creative control over the menu. Here’s what I served for the occasion:

Potato and vegetable curry puffs, spinach wrapper, winter citrus

Shrimp gyoza, chili oil

Spicy chili oil peanut noodles, lime

Ginger anise cabbage soup palette cleanser, enoki mushrooms

Sea bass poached in lemongrass and ginger coconut curry, forbidden rice

Korean short ribs, 1 day kimchi, marinated cucumbers, stir fry Chinese broccoli and garlic, stir fried fish cake
